Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Chirio, a service for connecting social media accounts and publishing content to them via a dashboard and API. By creating an account or using an API key, you agree to them.

Chirio is operated by Tóth Lóránt e.v., 1134 Budapest, Kassák Lajos utca 67/B, Hungary.

The service

Chirio lets you connect social accounts (currently Instagram, Threads, X, and LinkedIn) through each platform's official authorization flow and publish content to them, including an optional first comment posted alongside a post. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., X Corp., or LinkedIn Corporation.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required by the platforms you connect, whichever is higher.

Your account and API keys

You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys. Keep keys secret; revoke any key you believe is compromised. You must provide accurate account information and be legally permitted to operate the social accounts you connect — including authority to post on behalf of any company page you connect.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Chirio to:

• publish content that is unlawful, or that violates the terms, content policies, or automation rules of the platforms you publish to;
• send spam, misleading content, or bulk unsolicited posts;
• infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of others;
• probe, disrupt, or overload the service or circumvent its limits.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Your content

You retain all rights to the content you publish. You grant us only the limited license needed to transmit that content to the platforms you select. You are solely responsible for the content you publish and for having the rights to publish it.

Platform dependence

Publishing depends on third-party platform APIs that we do not control. Platforms may change or revoke API access, rate-limit requests, or remove published content at any time. Chirio is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any particular post will be delivered.

A post and its first comment are published in separate steps. A first comment may fail — for example if a platform permission was revoked — while the post itself succeeds. The result of each is reported to you per platform.

Fees and billing

Chirio offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed by Stripe, monthly or annually in advance, plus usage.

What we charge for. Usage is metered in network writes. One write is one post published to one connected account; a first comment published alongside a post is one further write. Reading data, connecting accounts, scheduling, and retrying a post that failed are not charged. You are charged only for writes that succeed: a target that fails, and a first comment a platform refuses, cost nothing.

Platform-dependent rates. Some platforms charge us per post. Where they do, a write on that platform counts as more than one — X currently counts as several, and considerably more for a post containing a link, mirroring what X charges. The current rates are shown on our pricing page and in your billing settings before you publish.

Included volume and extra writes. Each paid plan includes a monthly volume of writes. Writes beyond it are billed at that plan's per-write rate at the end of the billing period. On the free tier there are no extra writes: publishing pauses when the included volume is used up, and resumes when the period resets.

Taxes. Prices exclude VAT and other applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required.

Non-payment. If a payment fails we may retry it and, after reasonable notice, suspend publishing on the account. Metered usage already incurred remains payable.

Refunds. Subscription fees are refundable within 14 days of a first purchase where mandatory consumer law gives you that right. Usage already delivered — writes we have published on your behalf — is not refundable, because the cost to us is already incurred with the platform. If we bill you in error, we correct it.

Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal. Continuing after that date accepts the new price; you may cancel before it takes effect.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and the account reverts to the free tier — connected accounts and posts are not deleted by cancelling.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chirio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or EUR 100 where the service was provided free of charge. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for deletion). We may suspend or terminate the service or your access with reasonable notice, or immediately for material breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, and the courts of Hungary have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
